Terms and Conditions
Alison Leverett-Morris (“we”) are committed to your wellbeing and respecting your right to clarity of information before using our services. The Terms and Conditions set out below include:
• Terms and Conditions of our online products and programs
• General information regarding use of our website.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
The online products and programs on this website have been created by Alison Leverett-Morris for the purpose of self-directed personal development. Before purchasing a product, you will be asked to tick a checkbox to indicate that you have read and accepted our Terms and Conditions.
Our privacy policy is set out separately on the site but forms a part of these Terms and Conditions.
We promise that we have used all reasonable care and skill in providing the products you purchase from us and the services you receive. Our voice recordings (for example guided relaxations) have been scripted and prepared by Alison Leverett-Morris, a fully qualified and UKCP Registered Hypno-Psychotherapist (Registration Number: 2011167150).

PUTTING YOUR WELLBEING FIRST

In Alison Leverett-Morris’s professional and ethical hypno-psychotherapy practice, one-to-one therapy (in person) is ONLY undertaken after a full consultation, completion of a medical history questionnaire and within a framework of clinical supervision. Treatment and hypnotic techniques are undertaken with due care, and consideration of, individual clients’ circumstances, preferences and needs. Where necessary GP/medical practitioner consent to proceed is obtained. These measures aim to ensure safety and high professional standards and comply with the UKCP Code of Professional Standards and Ethics.

Alison Leverett-Morris’s online programs and products provide resources for the purpose of self-directed personal development. In the absence of a 1:1 therapeutic relationship with Alison Leverett-Morris, we make no promises, assurances, warranties and/or representations that our online products and programs are hypno-psychotherapy.

Online products which include hypnotic processes (for example guided relaxation audios) have been selected with great care so as to be indicated as widely as possible.

You must not rely on the materials and/or products as an alternative to medical advice or psychotherapeutic support and (subject to your statutory rights) we expressly disclaim all responsibility for, and shall have no liability for, any damage, loss, expense, injury whatsoever suffered by you or any third party as a result of your reliance on any materials or products we provide you.

If you have any specific questions or concerns about any medical matter (including mental health concern or matter) you must consult your doctor, healthcare provider or therapist as soon as possible.

If you think you may be suffering from any particular physical or mental health condition or health related condition (whether before, during or after use of the products) you must seek medical attention from your doctor.

If you have been diagnosed with clinical depression you acknowledge that you must seek medical advice BEFORE purchasing and proceeding with our online products and programs.

You acknowledge that you must not delay seeking or disregard medical advice or discontinue any medical treatment because of the materials we provide you or because you have purchased the products.

TERMS FOR USING THE RELAXATION AND/OR GUIDED VISUALISATION AUDIOS:
The audio recordings are relaxing and hypnotic by nature. The state of hypnosis is an entirely natural, and naturally occurring, state. However, it is important to understand that when the state of hypnosis is utilised for therapeutic purposes there are some medical conditions that are contraindicated to hypnotherapy and some conditions that require particular care.

In purchasing an online product or program you agree to the following terms of use:

o You must not listen to the audio recordings when driving or engaged in any activity that demands your attention

o You must only listen to the audios at a time when it is safe and appropriate for you to relax and give it your full attention

o The online programs and products are not suitable if you suffer from any of the conditions listed as contraindications below
- Psychosis
- Schizophrenia
- Dementia
- Delusion
- Antisocial personality disorder
- Bi-polar disorder
- Paranoid state
- Epilepsy

o If you suffer from any of the conditions listed as contraindications above, and choose to proceed, you do so at your own risk and are strongly advised to first consult with your GP or appropriate medical practitioner

o If you have been diagnosed with clinical depression you acknowledge that you must seek medical advice BEFORE purchasing our online products and programs. If you choose to proceed without consulting with your GP (or appropriate medical practitioner), you do so at your own risk

o You must not to listen to the recordings if you have consumed alcohol or recreational drugs

o If you are taking prescribed medication that causes drowsiness or other symptoms that may interfere with cognitive functioning, caution should be exercised. You must consult with your GP (or appropriate medical practitioner) before using the supplied recordings.

o If you have a serious or current heart condition you must consult with your GP before proceeding

o If you have diabetes you must check your blood sugar levels and ensure they are stable before listening to a guided relaxation or visualisation audio

o For reasons of safety and ethics, you must not distribute or share the recordings (see use license below)

o Any decisions you make once you have received any of our products are your own and you remain wholly responsible for any decisions and actions you take. The information contained in our programs, on this website and in our publications and on social media is not a substitute for medical advice and if you are in any doubt you must consult your doctor or licensed medical practitioner before using any of our products.

o If you were suffering from clinical depression or any psychiatric condition or any of the conditions listed as contraindications when you bought one of our products then the money back guarantee will be invalid. Your statutory rights are not affected by this exclusion.

Further guidelines for use:
o You will remain in control whilst listening to the guided relaxation/visualization audios and be able to retain awareness of your surroundings. Should any emergency or situation arise, that requires your action, you will easily return to a wakeful, alert state and be able to deal with the situation as required

o The audios are relaxing by nature. For best results listen at a time when you are least likely to fall asleep (but don’t worry if you do – it won’t cause you any harm). If you have an appointment or time constraint it is recommended that you set an alarm, before listening to the audio, to ensure that you are awake and alert at the required time.

o Some of the techniques ask you to focus on your breathing. For some people this may not be appropriate or may not feel comfortable (for example if you suffer from a condition such as asthma). You must stop the breathing technique immediately if you experience any discomfort. For people with asthma it is recommended to keep your prescribed inhaler to hand when using the online products.
